Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced garlic and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper, then toss to combine.
- Drain the spaghetti, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan with the garlic oil and toss to coat, adding a bit of reserved pasta water if needed.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with Parmesan if desired.
