Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  9. Cool on a wire rack.
