Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Cool on a wire rack.
